A bus driver on duty for school transport in Thiais (Val-de-Marne) was the victim of death threats and insults on Tuesday June 25 from a motorist who refused to leave a space reserved for school buses in front of a nursery school, franceinfo learned on Wednesday June 26, from a police source confirmed by the Créteil prosecutor’s office which opened an investigation into the offence.
Around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, the motorist was parked in the space reserved for school buses, he refused to leave at the request of the bus driver. The tone rose and the motorist then made these comments: “I’m fed up with people like you, Bougnoules and Renois, I vote RN, I’m going to kill you, I’m going to massacre you, I’m going to eradicate you.”
Following which, according to a police source confirmed by the Créteil public prosecutor’s office, the motorist got back into his car before deliberately hitting the bus driver in the legs, he was slightly injured and admitted to the emergency room of the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital. The driver fled and has not yet been identified.
The investigation entrusted to the L’Haÿ-les-Roses police station is open to “repeated death threat, committed because of race, ethnicity, nation or religion” And “violence aggravated by two circumstances followed by incapacity not exceeding 8 days”specifies the prosecution attached by franceinfo.
