A mother living in the Monnaie district of Romans-sur-Isère in Drôme filed a complaint because her son was presented on social networks as a “killer” after the death of Thomas in Crépol, reports Sunday December 3 France Bleu Drôme Ardèche. According to her statements, she and her son were not in France at the time of the events.
Khedidja says she was alerted via Snapchat while she was abroad: “I wasn’t there at all and I received on my Snap: watch out for your son’s head, it’s spinning”. “We were in Algeria to bury my mother”she continues. “At the gendarmerie, when we went to file a complaint, they told us ‘you did well to come because the next day we were going to come and break down your door!’she confides to France Bleu Drôme Ardèche.
Now this mother admits to being afraid for her high school son “because now, the extreme right has taken on a crazy scale outside the neighborhood”.
Khedidja lives in the Monnaie district of Romans-sur-Isère, where some of the suspects implicated in the murder of Thomas in Crépol live after a ball. In this neighborhood, ultra-right groups went there a week after the death of the young high school student to carry out a xenophobic punitive expedition.
