On the morning of Tuesday June 21 at the Rungis market (Val-de-Marne), a concert takes place at 6 a.m. on the occasion of the Fête de la Musique, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. In effect, 6amit’s almost the end of the day for thousands of professionals who have been on deck since midnight. On the menu of this earliest music festival in France: grilled sausage breakfast. On stage, about fifteen artists will follow one another for two hours.

The concert is free, to thank the 13,000 employees of the largest food market in the world. “Rungis is celebrating this morning. It’s great, after two years of confinement, to be able to meet again”rejoices Stéphane LayaniCEO of the international market of Rungis. He is 8am and the concert ends: when some attack their day, others are already going to bed.
