A Montreal man suspected of crimes related to pimping who was recently arrested in Toronto may have other victims in the regions of Montreal, Laval and the North Shore, according to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
The police therefore invite anyone who has relevant information on Amine Karim Belhousse, aged 25, or on his actions, to communicate confidentially with the Criminal Information Center of the Sûreté du Québec.
Amine Karim Belhousse was arrested on July 21 and appeared in the Criminal Division of the Montreal Courthouse seven days later, on July 28. He faces charges of pimping, material benefit from the provision of sexual services, advertising of sexual services and drug trafficking.
The facts implicating the suspect would have taken place in Quebec and Ontario between December 2021 and mid-March. He had been under investigation by the Integrated Pimping Squad (EILP) since last spring.
The investigation tends to show that the suspect may have also made victims in the Toronto area.
