A 17-year-old girl disappeared Monday, November 8 in Mayenne, franceinfo learned from France Bleu Mayenne and the gendarmerie. According to information from franceinfo, the teenager had left for a run at the end of the day near a wood in the south of the department, in the area of Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne. It was her parents who sounded the alarm, not seeing her return to the family home.
The gendarmerie mobilized significant resources. About twenty soldiers are currently on site, supported by a dog team and a helicopter from Rennes. The Laval prosecutor’s office was seized.
The gendarmes will stay there all night. Reinforcements are expected Tuesday, November 9 in the morning if the research does not succeed overnight.
