A minute of silence at the Bergerac court after the death of a magistrate in the Paris region

This Tuesday, the magistrates of the correctional court of Bergerac paid tribute to their colleague who died on October 18. A vice-president of the Nanterre court in the Paris region felt unwell during an immediate appearance hearing. She could not be revived by paramedics. This magistrate was 44 years old.

The Bergerac magistrates observed a minute of silence following the national appeal launched by two main unions of magistrates. They also wish to denounce the lack of human and material resources. Prosecutor Sylvie Guédes took the floor to explain and describe the difficulties of the magistrates.

At the Périgueux court, there was no dismissal.
