This is the new daily series from France Télévisions. One year after stopping More beautiful lifeand while France 2 is a hit every evening with Such a big sun, the public service is preparing to launch a brand new series exclusively offered on digital initially. 200 episodes, each seven minutes long, are currently being filmed in Ille-et-Vilaine. Series Deter will tell the daily life of young students at an agricultural high school, and will be particularly centered on three young heroes, Elsa, Lia and Mehdi.
This Tuesday, September 12, while he was in Rennes for the livestock fair, Mr.arc Fesneau, new Minister of Agriculture, took the opportunity to come visit the filming of this new series. An unpremeditated visit, as the politician assured the Huffington Post: ”I wanted to salute this initiative by France Télévisions to show a world which is sometimes invisible, which does not always know how to show who it is, and what ‘he does. It’s good that we can show what the agricultural reality is in the public service,” explained the 52-year-old minister.

A dozen shots were enough
But surprise : upon learning of the politician’s arrival at the filming location, the directors had the idea of having him play the role of a student’s parent, for a short scene! A proposal that Marc Fesneau welcomed with a smile, and which he accepted. Thus, in Déter, which will be launched at the beginning of October 2023 on france.tv, spectators will soon be able to see, for the duration of a scene – if it is not cut during editing – a parent of a student who has come to visit the school where their child attends. After a brief rehearsal then around ten camera shots, the scene was validated and the Minister of Agriculture was able to return to Paris!
