A massage therapist from Quebec admitted to having sexually assaulted a patient who came for back pain and left traumatized after the accused touched his genitals.
Nicolas Bourgoin admitted Thursday to having sexually assaulted the young woman, who was seeking the services of a massage therapist for the very first time.
The 28-year-old man, who was then employed by the Clinique Réseau Force Santé in Quebec, had asked the young adult to turn around at a certain point during the treatment, inviting her to lie on her back.
It was at this moment that he removed the towel that covered her, before touching her breasts.
“At a certain point, she will no longer feel massaged, she will feel hit,” described crown prosecutor Geneviève Corriveau.
Digital penetration
The massage therapist then slid his hand to his client’s private parts, asking her questions about her intimate life, namely whether she had a spouse or sexual partners.
He then touched his victim’s clitoris, before inserting a finger into her vagina.
In shock when the “treatment” ended, the young woman quickly sent a text message to her mother, who told her to quickly notify the clinic receptionist.

When it was time to go there, however, it was the accused himself who went to the counter to make the young adult pay, who left the place in tears.
The day after the attack, the victim received an email from Bourgoin, who said he was “sorry” and that his behavior “was unprofessional.”
Sexological report requested
Nicolas Bourgoin’s case was postponed until next January to allow the preparation of a pre-sentence report with a sexological component.
Both parties will then argue the appropriate sentence to impose on the 28-year-old offender.
The latter still has a Facebook page offering its massage therapy services, the last publication dating from July 2022, four months after the attack in this case.
