The United States are in shock, Wednesday, May 25. An 18-year-old has caused death in a Texas elementary school. 19 schoolchildren died. The shooter was shot.
The Uvalde school in Texas (United States) was hit by a shooting on Tuesday May 24. The results are terrible: two adults and 19 students died in the shooting. Schoolchildren who survived tell of their trauma. “We heard gunshots, it didn’t stop. We were on the ground, and we were afraid of dying”says Jordan Liges.
Shot on the spot, the author of the killing was called Salvador Ramos, and was 18. Before joining the school, he allegedly posted images of guns on social media and shot his grandmother. The local police admit that they could not do anything to avoid the tragedy. Uvalde’s drama is the worst killing in an American school for ten years. The president, Joe Biden, immediately spoke. “I’m tired and sick of it. We have to act, and don’t tell me we can’t have an impact on this carnage”did he declare.
