A 55-year-old father died in Dijon (Côte-d’Or), on the night of Saturday November 25 to Sunday November 26, the victim of a stray bullet. His children were present. Living near a drug deal point, he could be the collateral victim of a settling of scores by drug traffickers.
A building in Dijon (Côte-d’Or) was the target of shooting. A 55-year-old father died in his bed, victim of a stray bullet, on the night of Saturday November 25 to Sunday November 26. His children were present. “I thought it was 4 a.m., because I was sleeping. (…) My brother ran into my father’s room first, he screamed: “Daddy, daddy”. Then he screamed ‘Daddy’ a third time, and that’s when I knew he was dead.”, sobbed one of them. For the prosecutor, the victim probably had nothing to do with what appears to be a settling of scores between drug traffickers, according to the police.
The victim lived just above a deal point
The prosecutor, Olivier Caracotch, mentions “a very dramatic, very unfortunate victim, who was only affected by the fact that she lived immediately above this deal point“. François Rebsamen, mayor of the city, assures that it is a neighborhood “quiet, apart from this point of deal” In September, in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), Soucayna, 24, was killed while she was studying in her room.
