The 31-year-old man was arrested and hospitalized for tests. Morgan Mank, a native of the state of Virginia, was arrested in New York on Friday January 28, after driving the wrong way on a street in the Tribeca district, in lower Manhattan, before rushing his car against the New York residence of American singer Taylor Swift. It is then “got out of his vehicle, approached the building and tried unsuccessfully to force entry to a secure door”, details the police report.

The police, however, did not confirm hostile remarks towards the 32-year-old star that he would have uttered.

This isn’t the first time the multi-award-winning pop star has been targeted by stalkers,“one of his greatest fears”. In 2019 in the magazine Sheshe had written that there was “enough stalkers trying to break into [elle]”, so that she feels forced to “prepare for something bad to happen”.

Another New York man, Roger Alvarado, has been arrested multiple times in recent years for attempting to break into Taylor Swift’s Manhattan home.

In June 2019, a suspected burglar from Iowa was arrested in Rhode Island, where the singer has a home, with a project and a baseball bat for him “to visit”.
