When firefighters arrive outside the couple’s home, they find the 56-year-old woman on the sidewalk with bloody hands. She received several stab woundsand says her husband tried to kill her.
He is on the doorstep. He would then have equipped himself with a pellet rifle with scope and would have started fire on the firefighters, and on the police officers who came as reinforcements. Several are injured including a policeman shot in the legs who receives 4 days of temporary interruption of work.
It is ultimately by using tusk and tonfa ball launchers that the police officers manage to arrest the 57-year-old man. He had drunk: 1.60 g/litre of blood. Of the complaints were filed against him by the police and the fire brigade.
He will therefore be tried this Friday for aggravated violence against a spouse and for intentional violence against firefighters and police officers. The vital prognosis of his companion is not engaged.
