A man was killed and another stabbed in a bar in the fifth arrondissement of Paris in the night from Friday to Saturday, we learned from the Paris prosecutor’s office. The facts took place shortly before 4 a.m. at the New York Café, a small crowded karaoke bar from rue Mouffetard.
The alleged perpetrator has “pulled out a knife”, said a source close to the investigation. The man killed was 31 years old, the injured is 26 years old, said the prosecution. They were members of the Albanian community. An investigation, entrusted to the Parisian criminal brigade, was opened for “intentional homicide and intentional violence with a weapon”, specified the prosecution, which does not mention no arrest.
