A man was the victim of a stabbing on the night of Friday to Saturday in the Île-Bizard–Sainte-Geneviève borough, in the West Island of Montreal.
The incident happened shortly before 1 a.m. The police found the man injured in the upper body on rue Roy, not far from rue Cherrier.
He was subsequently taken back to a hospital center, where his condition was not yet known by the Montreal Police Department. According to the police service, the individual was conscious during his transport.
A security perimeter was erected on Paquin Street, a few meters from where the individual was found, to allow investigators to shed light on this matter.
