A man was stabbed Wednesday evening by a group of individuals in a home in the Pierrefonds-Roxboro district of Montreal.
Police explained that they received a 911 call around 9:20 p.m. to report that a man had been stabbed in a home on rue Pavillon, not far from rue de Savoie.
“Suspects entered the victim’s home and injured her with a bladed weapon,” explained officer Caroline Chèvrefils, spokesperson for the City of Montreal Police Department.
The victim, a 26-year-old man, suffered injuries to his upper body and his condition was being assessed at the hospital late in the evening.
The suspects fled before the police arrived. No arrests were immediately made.
