A 23-year-old man is said to be in critical condition after being shot Tuesday afternoon in a parking lot in Brossard.

The young adult was reportedly hit while he was in a vehicle in a commercial parking lot on boulevard de Rome in Brossard around 3:55 p.m. Tuesday.
The victim was rushed to a hospital. We fear for his life, said Mélanie Mercier, spokesperson for the Longueuil agglomeration police department (SPAL).
Following the event, three suspects were arrested in Candiac and interviewed by investigators. According to our information, the police found a firearm during the arrest.
