A 27-year-old man, seriously injured by a bullet on Sunday afternoon in Colmar, in the Haut-Rhin, succumbed to his injuries on Monday August 15 in the morning, reports France Bleu Alsace. The shooter is actively sought.
The victim participated Sunday noon in a barbecue with several people. According to a police source, a violent altercation broke out between the participants in this barbecue and another group. The argument ends, but a few minutes later, one of the members of this group returns to the barbecue and opens fire.
The origin of the altercation is still unclear: according to the Colmar prosecution joined by France Bleu Alsace, the shooter and another man were going back and forth on a scooter in front of the barbecue. It was therefore the noise pollution linked to this urban rodeo that sparked the dispute. On the side of the police, it is confirmed that a two-wheeler appears on the video surveillance but without it being known at this stage if it is indeed the object of the altercation.
A judicial investigation has been opened for “assassination”. The investigation was entrusted to the judicial police of Mulhouse. She will have to determine the exact causes of the dispute and the circumstances of the shootings.
