(Montreal) A man was reportedly hit by firearm projectiles in Montreal, on Rolland Boulevard, near Pascal Street, in the Montreal-North borough, Saturday around 6:45 p.m.

Agent Raphaël Bergeron, of the Service de police de la ville de Montréal (SPVM), indicated that “a similar event occurred the day before, practically at the same place”.
The victim is a 28-year-old man, known to the police, who was traveling on foot. He was possibly approached by a vehicle, one of whose occupants fired towards the victim, hitting him in the lower body.
The man was rushed to a hospital, where he is in stable condition.
The SPVM has no information on the suspect vehicle. The victim says he saw nothing and cooperates little with the authorities.
