A new stabbing attack in Saint-Étienne. Around 2:45 a.m., a 30 or 40-year-old man was stabbed on rue Pierre-Termier, in the city center. Seriously injured, he was transported to the Center Hospitalier Nord de Saint-Étienne by the four firefighters who came to his aid. A suspect is in custody.
The assailant fled: the victim was lying alone when help arrived. But the national police, noting the presence of a surveillance camera, requested the images from the municipal police, who provided them immediately. A suspect was arrested overnight and taken into custody.
