The Manche firefighters responded to a serious accident this Saturday around 12:30 p.m. on Route Nationale 13, near Valognes in the direction of Cherbourg – Caen. A man lost control of his car, which ended its race embedded in a tree. The 31-year-old driver is seriously injured. The emergency services had to extricate him from his vehicle.
He was transported by an ambulance from the Mobile Emergency and Resuscitation Service (SMUR) to thePasteur hospital in Cherbourg. Nine firefighters were mobilized on the spot.
