The 36-year-old man was prosecuted for domestic violence in front of minors. He was arrested last June, drunk and hitting his wife in front of his children at their home in Nantheuil. He banged her head, twisted her fingers and pulled her hair. It was his 11-year-old daughter who called the police. The woman filed a complaint the same day.
Sentenced to suspended prison sentence
This is not the first time that the father has been violent towards his wife. The man, an alcoholic, drinks a bottle of vodka a day and no longer remembers the next day the blows he has dealt. He admitted the facts and received a detoxification treatment and a psychological follow-up. He was sentenced by the Bordeaux court to a six-month suspended prison sentence.
