A 20-year-old man opened fire on Monday evening on one of the emergency exits of the Accor Arena in Paris, while a concert by Italian singer Laura Pausini was about to begin, franceinfo learned on Tuesday February 13 from of the Paris Prosecutor’s Office.
Shortly after 7 p.m., security guards at the concert hall warned the police that an armed man was near the premises, France Inter learned from a police source. This man then fired several times with a handgun at the armored glass of an emergency exit. More than a dozen bullet holes were found on the door, according to a police source. Security officers at the Accor Arena in Bercy managed to convince him to put his weapon away and no injuries were reported, the prosecution said.
