A man was shot Wednesday evening in the borough of Montreal-North.
According to the first information available, the murder was committed shortly before 10:30 p.m. using a firearm at the intersection of rue de Charny and avenue PM-Favier.
The death of the victim was found on the spot, said agent Caroline Chèvrefils, spokesperson for the Montreal Police Service.
At the same time, several shots were fired almost at the same time in the Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles borough, at the corner of Maurice-Duplessis and Rudolphe-Forget boulevards.
The shots would possibly come from a moving vehicle, underlined the agent Chèvrefils by specifying that no victim was found in the immediate future.
