A 22 year old young man was indicted and imprisoned Friday as part of an investigation for rape and sexual assault on several miners in Grenoble and Saint-Egrève. Unknown to the courts until then, the man was brought during the day by the prosecution before an investigating judge, who prosecuted him “for one rape, one attempted rape, one sexual assault, two attempted sexual assaults” and three corruptions of minors “consisting of offering them money to allow themselves to be touched”said in a press release the public prosecutor Eric Vaillant.
Eight victims aged 11 to 15
The facts were allegedly committed between October 6 and 10, the prosecution said. The alleged victims of the individual are eight young boys aged 11 to 15. The suspect had been arrested on Wednesday afternoon by the police officers of the VTT brigade of the Grenoble police station and identified thanks to the video cameras of Saint-Egrève. He admitted all of the alleged facts, according to the public prosecutor.
