A 52-year-old man was indicted for murder by spouse and remanded in custody on Thursday November 3 by the Nanterre prosecutor’s office. His 35-year-old wife died last Tuesday: she received several stab wounds at the end of the afternoon, in front of the couple’s two children. The investigation was entrusted to the Hauts-de-Seine departmental judicial police service.
In 2021, 122 women were killed in France under the blows of their spouse or their ex-spouse, according to a report published at the end of August by the Ministry of the Interior.
