A man in his twenties has been discovered death from a bullet in the head that night, near the Belle de Mai district in the 3rd arrondissement of Marseille. The Marseille firefighters arrived on site around midnight. They were unable to resuscitate the victim, who died of his injuries on the spot a few moments later,
The prosecutor of the Republic of Marseille confirmed this information to France Bleu Provence. At this stage of the investigation, the victim is not identified. The motive is not known.
