This is a story that greatly worried, this Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Montcalm Park in Montpellier. Around 12:30 p.m., a man in his thirties fired a handgun several times, without hurting anyone. Warned by the companion, a crew from the BAC quickly intervened.
A loaded gun
Upon arriving, the police first asked the 30-something, several times, to drop his weapon, in vain. The man held it in his hand, pointing at the ground, begging to be shot. One of the officers pulled out a taser to subdue the man without anyone being hurt.
The gun was actually loaded blank. The person was taken to the psychiatric emergency room at CHU Lapeyronie.
