a man found dead in his house partly destroyed by fire

This morning around 9 a.m., and in circumstances that will have to be clarified, a fire broke out in a house in the Horts district of Nyons. It took 21 firefighters and 6 machines to bring the flames under control. At the end of the morning, the body of a lifeless man was discovered in the house. Four people were on site, two were slightly intoxicated by the fumes and taken care of on the spot. But no one was taken to hospital.

Secure perimeter, 50 gendarmes on site

Without knowing why for the moment, the son of the deceased man then took refuge in his own house nearby. “The gendarmerie is currently trying to get in touch with this person” specifies the prefecture in a press release. “To prevent any risk, the perimeter is secure and reinforcements are on site, a total of more than 50 gendarmes. The prefect of Drôme asks the population to stay away to let the security services work.”
