Two men aged 26 and 27 were in police custody on Tuesday, September 20 after the attack on a 30-year-old in the town hall square in Saint-Nazaire the day before. It is 7:30 p.m. Monday when a 33-year-old man calls the police. The latter asserts thathe has just been beaten and threatened with a knife by two men who forced him to hand over his wallet and jewelry.
Forced to make purchases with his credit card
The attackers went so far as to force their victim to use his bank card for purchases in a nearby supermarket. The police then viewed the video surveillance images of the convenience store in question and located the two individuals in the area. Both carry a knife on them, one of them gets rid of the victim’s watch when the police arrive. Arrested in the process, the two men were still in custody on Tuesday evening.
