A man was arrested and taken into custody on Thursday January 27, after having stabbed his spouse in Libourne. The 45-year-old woman was taken care of by firefighters and hospitalized at the Haut-Lévêque hospital in Pessac. An investigation is opened for attempted spousal homicide.
The couple’s child, present at the scene of the attack, was taken care of. This couple was already known to justice for acts of domestic violence.
