(Montreal) A 24-unit building was devoured by flames on Saturday evening on rue Lesieur, in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

The major fire was reportedly declared around 5 p.m.
According to information published on the Facebook page of the city of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, “The building was evacuated quickly, so that there were no injuries. The Red Cross is on site and the affected families have been taken care of. »
On its Facebook page, the City indicated that the origin of this fire is not yet known and that the investigation will be forwarded to the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu police department.
