This meeting will take place at Villa Bonaparte, which is “the French embassy to the Holy See, here in Rome”, specifies the journalist. It is therefore Emmanuel Macron who receives the American president, an important symbol in politics. “Another important issue for the French president is that he will once again plead with his American counterpart for European defense”, adds Guillaume Daret.
