A few days ago, the leader had sent his sons aged 14, 15 and 16 respectively to the front in Ukraine, in the Donbass, reports Newsweek.
On his return to Chechnya, in a macabre staging published on Telegram, one of the sons of Ramzan Kadyrov, 16, “offers as a gift” three Ukrainian prisoners of war to his father. He is accompanied by Chechen soldiers.
According to French journalist Loup Bureau, these three Ukrainian soldiers had been missing for some time and allegedly “reappeared” in the video.
A very controversial leader
The Chechen leader is accused of several war crimes and atrocities denounced on all sides by the international community. Moreover, members of the LGBTQ+ community risk the death penalty in Chechnya.

According BFM TV, Kadyrov has his own mercenaries, and about 10,000 of them end up on the front lines in Ukraine. In Mariupol, a city ravaged by Russian bombing, Kadyrov’s army had been active in sowing “terror” among the inhabitants.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky did not react to the extract, which according to several analysts, represents a “contempt for international laws”.
