The meeting took place this Thursday, October 27 around 7:30 am on the RD9 near the town of Vébron in Lozère. The animal was filmed in the middle of the road by the passenger. The images were then posted on social media.
For the moment, the National Office for Biodiversity (OFB) is trying to contact the motorist to collect his testimony and initiate a verification procedure. Thanks to the images collected, an expertise will be made and within ten days, the OFB will be able to confirm or not whether the animal is indeed a wolf.
