On October 25, Georgette, 64, suffered a heart attack at her home in Essonne. His granddaughter, Kalli, then picks up the phone and calls for help. Calmly, she follows the instructions of the operator on the phone. The firefighters will arrive six minutes later. The grandmother is now out of danger thanks to the intervention of her granddaughter.
A first aid diploma
Kalli’s mother is obviously very proud. “I always explained to him that if we had a health problem, we had to call 18. (…) I had already explained to him certain emergency actions to take if necessary”, she explains. And to conclude: “If she hadn’t been there, her grandmother might not be here today.” The little girl’s act was praised by the firefighters who awarded her a “little first aid” diploma.
