As every morning, the ministry published on its social networks the daily report of cases and hospitalizations related to COVID, adding on Twitter a link usually leading to its website.
However, the link published this morning instead directed Internet users to the popular adult site Pornhub. The hyperlink was to a foot fetish video to be more specific.
The error will have taken about thirty minutes to be corrected according to several Internet users who did not take long to publish the blunder on social networks.
In a tweet posted at 12:15 p.m., the ministry acknowledged the error, but said it was due to “a situation beyond its control”.
“We are looking for the causes. We are sorry for the inconvenience, ”said the MSSS.
A ministry spokesman, Robert Maranda, also confirmed to the Log “that an investigation was underway”.

Not a first
This isn’t the first time the Department of Health has been linked to stories about porn sites. In 2018, The newspaper revealed that dozens of accesses to adult sites had been recorded on the computers of ministry officials.
A total of 768 login attempts had been blocked by departmental filters, but 178 allowed logins had been listed in the category of porn sites. However, some of these connections could contain sites listed in error.
No sanction was listed at the time, but the ministry indicated that these files were managed “on a case-by-case basis”.
