A lesson in inspiration from Victor Verreault at Mont-Sainte-Anne

Some sports performances go far beyond a simple result. Cyclist Victor Verreault demonstrated this on Sunday afternoon, finishing in 36e place of the UCI Mercedez-Benz Mountain Bike World Cup Olympic cross-country event. A rather ordinary performance, but if we mention that the 23-year-old athlete is returning from a major operation in May following a recurrence of Hodgkin’s cancer and of the thyroid gland, this performance suddenly takes on the looks like a gigantic accomplishment.
