Ligue 1 teams will enter the fray in this 2023-2024 edition of the Coupe de France. Monday, December 11, the draw for the 32nd finals, organized from the Dauphine pavilion in Paris and carried out by the former boxer Brahim Asloum and the Bleues basketball player Sandrine Gruda, was more or less happy for the 18 clubs of the elite of French football.

A Ligue 1 clash between Lens and Monaco

One meeting will be particularly anticipated: the clash between Lens and Monaco, a clash between two big Ligue 1 teams. Two other elite clubs will also be face-to-face, namely Metz and Clermont.

Among the other expected matches, Toulouse, outgoing winner, will have to defend its title on the field of Chambéry (National 3) while Olympique de Marseille will travel to Thionville (N3). OL also inherited an opponent playing in the fifth level of French football (Pontarlier). For PSG, a few days after the Champions Trophy against Toulouse (January 3), Luis Enrique’s men will have to seek their qualification in Revel (Haute-Garonne) against one of the six “little thumbs” of R1. The meetings will be held on January 5, 6 and 7.

OL-Montpellier in the women’s table

On the women’s side of the table, the defending champions Lyon will challenge Montpellier for a clash between two D1 Arkema teams in the round of 16 of the competition. PSG, for its part, will travel to Bréquigny Rennes (third division). The full program can be found below. Please note that the matches will be held on January 14.
