The documentary on Princess Diana, which comes out on Wednesday August 31, is the event of the week at the cinema, 25 years to the day after the tragic accident which cost her her life, in Paris, on August 31, 1997. She was 36 years old. Even today, Lady Diana remains in everyone’s hearts, in Great Britain, but also in France.

Twenty-five years later, Wednesday August 31, the flame still burns for the French who came to meditate at the Pont de l’Alma, in Paris, where Princess Diana lost her life. Some come with family. “I told my 18-year-old daughter that it would be nice if we came to the flame in memory of Diana to pay her a little tribute because it is an important date”says a mother. “I think she’s a completely timeless woman”thinks a young girl.

On August 31, 1997, the car carrying Lady Diana and Dodi Al Fayed ends its course in the 13th pillar of the Alma bridge tunnel. The life of the icon, who died at 36, is traced in a documentary, which is released on Wednesday. He recounts his love story with Prince Charles and their separation, as well as his humanitarian commitments. His sons, William and Harry, who are cold, will not participate in any public commemoration. They will honor their mother’s memory in private, each on their own.
