In your carts from the 1ᵉʳ July, no more plastic on apples, carrots and other apricots sold in batches. The prohibition of this packaging is part of the anti-waste and circular economy law. The measure is rather well received by customers of a store. Some have even already adopted good habits, sticking the label directly on the vegetables purchased individually, without using a plastic bag.

However, not all fruits and vegetables are affected. 29 are even exempted from the prohibition by decree. Among them, we find mushrooms, broccoli and raspberries, as they are considered too fragile to be sold in bulk. These exemptions are criticized by anti-waste associations. Originally, these derogations were to last until 2026, they should finally continue.
