The telephones collected will either be repaired or recycled in strict compliance with environmental standards in France. Citizen and solidarity mobilization in favor of the second life of the 50 million unused telephones in France is urgently needed to stop waste, avoid the extraction of 85,000 tonnes of raw materials and create jobs that cannot be relocated.
“Every gesture counts, since each telephone given as part of the collection will allow Ecosystem to recondition mobiles, for the benefit of the France Victimes association”, indicates Donatien Drilhon of Ecosystem, at the initiative of this event alongside Metropolis towers.
