This is a first for the Mont-Saint-Michel hospital group: the organization of a jobdating, this Tuesday, May 24, in the entrance hall of the Avranches hospital. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., this operation aims to recruit fifty employees. The objectives: find takers for vacant positions and replace professionals during the summer holidays.
Nurses, nursing assistants, midwives, service agents are thus sought. “The idea is to meet the professionals and to evaluate with them the service that will best suit“to the candidates, explains Annabelle Beauquesne, senior health executive, who helped set up this meeting.
Fixed-term contracts from a few months to a year are going to be proposed, with an appointment “as soon as possible“, she adds. The positions are located in Avranches, but also in the other structures of the group: Granville, Villedieu-les-Poêles, Mortain, Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët, Saint-James and Pontorson.

“We are looking for people with some experience“, declares Annabelle Beauquesne. But students, nursing for example, are also welcome. Future employees are called upon to work in the various departments: surgery, emergency, rehabilitation, among others.
The recruitment difficulties are more and more important since the health crisis, deplores the health framework: “Some professionals have reoriented themselves, others have moved.“
