A Jewish woman was stabbed on Saturday November 4 in Lyon in her building. The city prosecutor’s office does not rule out an anti-Semitic act.
Still no explanation after the attack on a Jewish woman in a building in Lyon (Rhône). According to the victim’s testimony, it was around 1 p.m. on Saturday November 4 when an individual crossed the secure entrance to the building and knocked on the door of a mother who was going through a divorce. She says she opened her door for him and received two stab wounds to the abdomen. The individual then fled immediately.
Neighbors in shock
In the building, the neighbors present do not realize anything. Once there, the police identified a swastika, engraved on the victim’s door, the potential indicator of an act of an anti-Semitic nature. The victim’s neighbor is shocked. Since then, she has locked herself in her apartment. After being treated, the victim was able to leave the hospital on Sunday, November 5 in the morning.
