2022 has started smoothly, particularly in the south of the country. In places, the thermometer will flirt with 20 degrees during the day of Saturday, January 1.
From the first light of day in 2022, a family came to climb the dune of Pilat (Gironde). They left Nantes (Loire-Atlantique) at night, to come and admire the panorama. “We did a lot of kilometers just for that, to start 2022 with a beautiful light”, confides a woman.
For several days, temperatures have been spring here. The inhabitants of the region take advantage of the mildness, noting that it is more and more frequent. “We’re starting to get used to it. Every year it gets smoother, so it can get worrisome.”, says one of them. The bravest took a dip in the ocean. “The day, she is beautiful after that. I see the life in pink after”, enthuses a swimmer. Seasonal temperatures will return in the coming days.
