A 29-year-old hunter was seriously injured in the chest on Sunday, November 7 at the end of the morning during a private hunting party in the Landricourt forest in the Aisne, franceinfo learned from the gendarmerie.
The victim, taken care of at the hospital of Reims, is in absolute urgency, but “his vital prognosis is not engaged”, adds the gendarmerie.
About ten people took part in this big game hunt. According to the first testimonies provided to the gendarmes, the hunter shot twice to reach a boar. The investigation will have to determine if the victim was on the firing line or was hit by ricochet.
The gunman, aged about thirty, presented himself to the gendarmerie. He is currently in police custody.
