On the eve of the international day against homophobia, transphobia and biphobia, homophobic inscriptions were discovered this Monday morning in Laval, confirming information from our colleagues from ouest-france.fr. On the pedestrian crossing, rue de la Paix, an inscription in black letters: “LGBT = homophobia“
Saturday, May 14, several rainbows had already been vandalized with jets of white paint.
The municipality of Laval and the association La Gom’53 had taken the initiative to paint these rainbows in order to show their support for all LGBTQI+ people.
The city of Laval will file a complaint following these acts of vandalism and hopes that the investigation will find the perpetrator(s).
