A missile attack left at least five dead and around thirty injured in Odessa, Ukraine, Monday April 29. A famous castle also caught fire.

One of the symbols of the city of Odessa (Ukraine) in flames. Monday April 29, the Palace of Law Students was hit by a Russian strike. Firefighters worked for several hours to put out the fire in the structure. On site, Ukrainian authorities released a video showing several simultaneous explosions near the castle. They evoke an attack by a ballistic missile with cluster munitions.

Five people lost their lives

The entire waterfront district was hit late Monday afternoon. Many people were injured and the death toll was five. Odessa is located in southwest Ukraine, but the Russians are putting pressure on several areas of the front. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has demanded additional weapons from his allies. According to him, “the Russian offensive can be thwarted”. The Russians have made no official comment on the attack.
