The Saut du Chalard in Périgord Vert, a waterfall to admire!

This is the name of a family hike of barely 2km round trip on the banks of the Dronne. It is very easy to access it thanks to the efficient signage. For parking, free parking is available. The hike follows a forest path, with a drop of about 100m, it’s not much but enough for those who struggle (barely!) Uphill, need to take short breaks. Take your time ! The town hall offers a discovery booklet of local flora and fauna, geology and hydrology.

Then continue with a visit to the Caves of Villars. If you like original and unusual sites, this one is definitely one of them!
