A driver, suspected of shooting in Paris a man during a brawl in the night from Friday to Saturday, was arrested shortly after the facts. It would be Martial Lanoir, born in Lure in Haute-Saône, a follower of conspiracy and anti-Semitic theses.
The victim died on the spot. The suspect fled by car. He was arrested shortly after the incident and taken into custody. The facts took place on Boulevard de Clichy, in the 18th arrondissement, in the north of the capital.
A fight that escalates
According to the first elements of the investigation, a fight opposed several people on the embankment, three individuals hitting a fourth, when a motorist stopped his car, a BMW, to meet them and ask them to stop. One of the participants in the brawl would have ordered him to “clear”. So, the Lurons went back to his car, pulled out a Colt 45 and shot the person who insulted him, hitting him in the head and killing him instantly. He then took over the wheel.
Suspect quickly arrested
CCTV footage allowed a crew from the anti-crime brigade to locate this car, parked and empty of any occupant. A device was set up near the vehicle until the suspect returned with suitcases in his hands. At the sight of the police, the man took out his weapon again and a chase began on foot, before he ended up being arrested without shooting. He was taken into custody.
The man, aged 50, who says to himself “singer, tramp and YouTuber” is known among other things for his YouTube channel where he published some songs under the name “Martial Vezoul”. He also stood out in September 2020 on the set of the program Balance Ton Post, presented by Cyril Hanouna, in which he had spread false information about the Covid-19 pandemic.
In older videos posted on Dailymotion and entitled “Save-la-France” or “Immigration not wanted by the French”, he says in particular for “the party of (Alain) Soral and Dieudo(nné)”the essayist and the polemicist both sentenced for anti-Semitic remarks.
A 51-year-old woman, who introduced herself as his companion, was also arrested.
