a guest of “Daily” denounces the attitude of Yann Barthès on Twitter

At only 25 years old, Léna Lazare is the spokesperson in France for the Youth for Climate movement. A student and activist in her free time, the young woman leads an active fight in favor of ecology and has left university in order to embark on training as a farm manager. We note that she is also spokesperson for the movement “Les Uprisings of the Earth” which fights against agro-industry and which publishes this Friday, June 9, 2023, a collective work supported by researchers and renowned intellectuals. However, this movement is threatened with dissolution after a demonstration organized recently in Sainte-Soline.

More than ever eager to be heard, Léna Lazare was this Wednesday, June 7, 2023 on the set of the program “Quotidien, alongside Basile Dutertre, another spokesperson for the collective. Facing Yann Barthès, the young woman assured that the members of this movement are not “eco-terrorists”, that they are not an “ultra-left small group” and that they “represent a large part of society”.

For nearly twenty minutes, Yann Barthès thus questioned the two activists by trying to understand their claims but also by trying to prove to them that they are wrong on certain points…

The day after his passage on the set of the show, Léna Lazare wanted to make an update on Twitter concerning his meeting with Yann Barthès. “Yesterday Yann Barthès took me very insistently (3 times) on the set of “Quotidien” to tell me that there was no pumping planned for the detention of my Clusaz and therefore that I could not qualify it as a basin. Too bad, it’s wrong” she wrote, taking care to add an excerpt from an article in Montagnes Magazine evoking this famous altitude reservoir from La Colombière to La Clusaz.
